In charge of formulating long-term vision and strategies for the company’s technology development. To envision new products, to endorse innovation and research within a creative and collaborative environment.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS ARCHITECT (2005-2010)

Boehringer Ingelheim México, México D.F.

In charge of envisioning, planning and delivery of technology solutions. Working closely with project managers and teams of different areas -such as Sales, Marketing, Production, Manufacturing Sciences, Administration and Medical Direction-, providing guidance that ensures the compliance and regional alignment of Corporate IT policies and the optimization of IT assets.

Implementation of the “Services Oriented Architecture Framework” integrating different technologies. This initiative was coordinated with a team of international members (Germany, France and Mexico).

Implementation of the “Configuration Management Database” and servers and applications Infrastructure consolidation with the virtualization of the 80% of the Infrastructure, saving costs, increasing flexibility and incrementing IT Service Level Agreements.

PROJECT MANAGER (2004)

TasiSoft consulting services, for Cadbury Adams, México D.F.

Designing and Coordinating the Implementation of the “Sales Force Incentives and Results System” (SIPAREV, Sistema de Pagos y Resultados de la Fuerza de Ventas) for Cadbury Adams. This project was taken with a six month of delays and large over-budget expenditure. It was my responsibility to regain client credibility and to finish the project with a very tight constraints and recovering the ROI (return of investment). The project was a complete success and it is still being used today (2010) by Cadbury Adams.

SYSTEM CONSULTOR FOR THE ELECTRICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE (IIE) (2004)

Instituto de Investigaciones Eléctricas, Morelos – Manzanillo

In charge of the design and implementation of the system platform and real time communication subsystems for the project “Development of a pilot system to the online diagnosis of the electric generators of the thermoelectric centrals Manzanillo I and Manzanillo II” for the CFE (Comisión Federal de Electricidad). This pilot system has to be develop for extreme physical and electromagnetic conditions and has to communicate huge data from the Manzanillo, Sinaloa site to Mexico City (800km) to conduct real time and historic analysis by the CFE and IIE. (LabView / .Net / Windows Server / RASS)

SOLUTION ARCHITECT CONSULTOR FOR CRECE MORELOS (2001-2004)

Centro Regional para la Competitividad Empresarial del Estado de Morelos, México

Envisioning and Development of a “Customer Relationship Management Software” for a Private/Government Business Consulting Branch that provides consultancy to small business, -as part of the Government initiatives to support and incentive the growth and new development of business in the region-. The system was a key factor on the success of the regional branch. When the system was released, the regional branch was rewarded two consecutive years as the number one among all the other regional branches (about 80 facilities in Mexico).
